UPDATE: Courtesy Port of Cascade Locks: Nighttime closures of the Bridge of the Gods, Sept. 24 – Oct. 13

Nighttime travelers who use the Bridge of the Gods, which connects State Route 14 in Washington to Interstate 84 in Oregon, should plan to use an alternate route during intermittent full closures of the bridge.

Beginning Tuesday, Sept. 24, until Sunday, Oct. 13, crews will close the Bridge of the Gods, nightly, for deck rehabilitation work.

Monday, Sept. 23 – Wednesday, Oct. 9

  • Sundays – Thursdays: 9:30 p.m. – 5:30 a.m.
  • Fridays – Saturdays: 10:30 p.m. – 6:30 a.m.

The Bridge will be closed to all pedestrian and vehicle traffic during the above listed dates and times. The Bridge will be open at all other times, with single-lane closures.

Crews will be resurfacing and sealing the concrete bridge deck. Closure dates may be subject to change. Safety is always our highest priority, so if crossing please obey the posted speed limit.

INDEPENDENCE, Ohio, September 13 – The Railroad Retirement Board (RRB) is asking all active and retired railroaders to complete an online survey to help drive its future strategic plans regarding online offerings.

To that end, the Board has released an Online Services Customer Survey and is asking all active and retired members to complete it. The survey is anonymous and voluntary, and should take about 25 minutes to complete. It must be completed in one session.
