VANCOUVER POOL POSITION CHANGE

AGREEMENT

Between

THE BURLINGTON NORTHERN AND SANTA FE RAILWAY COMPANY

And

THE BROTHERHOOD OF LOCOMOTIVE ENGINEERS AND TRAINMEN

It is agreed that the Vancouver BLET local chairman can request Crew to make the occasional permanent swap in ownership of pool cars in the 201 pool at Vancouver Washington between the consenting owners and the occasional permanent swap of engineers in one of the assignment pools between the consenting owners.

It was understood that an engineer could only be involved with a permanent swap every 90 days. In other words, once an engineer was involved with a permanent swap, that same engineer could not be involved inanother permanent swap for 90 days. And the two engineers must be within the same pool. For example, an engineer on Pool 201 could not swap with an engineer in assigned pool E1.

It is further understood that these changes could be only requested by the Vancouver WA. BLET local chairman , and the changes then would be authorized by the manager of Crew Support for the Northwest Division, who would then authorize the changes. The method for this would be agreed to by both Crew Support and this Committee.

Signed and effective on this 1st day of  July, 2008
